A Dream to Fly: Honoring Women’s History Month!

Today, we proudly culminated Women’s History Month at the SED Center with a meaningful and joyful celebration. Our students engaged in a special book reading of Young Amelia Earhart: A Dream to Fly, honoring a pioneer who broke barriers and followed her dreams fearlessly. The day continued with inspiring student performances and a vibrant school parade filled with energy, creativity, and pride.

We celebrate Women’s History Month to recognize the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women throughout history—stories that continue to shape the world we live in today. More importantly, we celebrate to inspire our students to dream big, challenge limitations, and see themselves in those stories of courage and determination.

Moments like these are essential for our students. They build confidence, encourage self-expression, and create a deeper understanding of equality, representation, and possibility. By learning about powerful role models and celebrating together as a community, our students are reminded that their voices matter—and that they, too, can make history.
