Presidents Day 2026: Reading, Learning & Creativity

2/17/2026

Today, we celebrated Presidents Day with a special book reading of George Washington by Pamela Hill Nettleton, read aloud by our teacher, Mr. Hernandez.

Our students enjoyed learning about the life and leadership of George Washington — and the values of courage, responsibility, and perseverance that helped shape our nation.

As always, our classes brought the celebration to life through creative artwork inspired by the holiday. From patriotic colors to thoughtful projects, our students expressed what they learned in meaningful and imaginative ways.

It was a wonderful day of reading, learning, and creativity across our school community.
