This week, we’re celebrating the joy of reading with an unforgettable musical experience! We are thrilled to have Heart & Soul DC performing for our students all week long, bringing their unique fusion of flamenco, soul, and R&B to create a magical atmosphere. Today, they played music tailored specifically for our little learners, making reading time even more special.

We were also honored to welcome our Board of Directors President, Diógenes R. Rocha (Vice President, Institutional Real Estate at US Bank), who read The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper to our students. His inspiring reading reminded us all of the power of perseverance and believing in ourselves!

A huge thank you to Heart & Soul DC and Mr. Rocha for making this week extra special for our children. Stay tuned for more moments from Read Across America Week!
