Today was an extraordinary day at the SED Center as we welcomed two incredible community heroes, DC Police Officer Antonio Frias and DC Firefighter Felipe Ramirez! Our students were thrilled to learn firsthand about their vital roles in keeping our community safe and the tools they use every day.

It was more than just a visit—it was a valuable learning experience that allowed our students to connect with real-life heroes and understand the importance of their work. They asked thoughtful questions, explored the tools of the trade, and gained a deeper appreciation for the dedication these professionals show to our community.

To show their gratitude, our students created heartfelt thank-you cards for Officer Frias and Firefighter Ramirez, expressing their appreciation for their time and knowledge. This visit not only enriched their understanding but also inspired them to continue learning and aspiring to make a positive impact in our community.

A huge thank you to Officer Frias and Firefighter Ramirez for making today unforgettable and for being role models our students can look up to!
