At the SED Center, our teachers recently engaged in a comprehensive training on the Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS), focusing on the "Activities" subscale. This training emphasized creating enriching environments that support fine motor skills, art, music, movement, block play, dramatic play, nature/science exploration, math concepts, appropriate use of media, and diversity acceptance. Our educators learned to enhance their classrooms by ensuring variety, accessibility, intentional planning, inclusivity, and dynamic environmental setups. This training equips our team with the tools to foster stimulating and developmentally appropriate experiences, ensuring our young learners thrive and grow.
