SED Center gives Miss Cristina Maria Cotte a warm welcome! Throughout the months of October, November, and December, Miss Cotte will teach sign language classes as well as puppetry classes for our students in classes 4A and 4B. These classes will teach our students simple phrases (such as thank you, you’re welcome, and how are you) vocabulary terms, and songs with sign language descriptions. Additionally, she will integrate her sign language lessons with a puppetry performance during thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Miss Maria Cotte received her Master of Arts in Teaching from the George Washington University, her B.A. in Visual Arts and General Sociology from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, and has gained professional experience from organizations such as President Lincoln’s Cottage, Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Truesdell Education Campus, National Building Museum, Delirious by Chef P., and the US Department of Education. Welcome to the SED Center Miss Cotte!
